The outdoor backup uninterruptible power supply kits are designed for industrial applications where equipment uptime is critical. In the event of an interruption of grid supply, the system maintains power via batteries. When AC grid power is available, an intelligent control charger plugs into the DIN rail outlet to provide power to both the equipment and the batteries. When grid power is not available, the system switches over to the batteries so there is no interruption in power. The load output will turn off when the battery voltage is low to prevent over discharge of the batteries and is also regulated so that the output voltage does not exceed 12.5Vdc on the 12V system and 24.5Vdc on the 24V system. Load output will turn back on automatically when the batteries have sufficient charge. The charger has protections for short-circuit, overvoltage, overcurrent and reverse battery connection.
